We left La Paz in the middle of December. However, by then, all kinds of Christmas activities were under way.

We were lucky to be invited to a traditional Posada, a gathering to enact the search John and Mary made to look for an inn to settle in and have the baby Jesus. After the enactment, there is plenty of food and a Spanish-style piñata. Below you can see Daisy taking at whack at the piñata.

We also attended a Christmas Concert, by the La Paz Youth Philarmonic Orchestra, heavily supported by the local sailors.
