Right off the beach in La Paz, there is a dolphin pen where 6 dolphins are held to be studied and displayed. Daisy and I visited the Dolfinario de La Paz and enjoyed what we saw. The animals appeared to be well-taken care of, but the site is controversial, and some who know say that the habitat is not a good one for the dolphins.
