We had the opportunity to travel a bit around Baja California, courtesy of Annie and George of KELORAN in La Paz. They own a truck, and took us through some of the most beautiful spots in Lower Baja, including Los Barriles and Todos Santos.

Below are some pictures of the Palmas del Cortez and Buena Vista resorts at Los Barriles. Palma del Cortez is said to have been the hangout for the Hollywood crowd for a while. It was designed and is owned by Chacha, one of the wealthiest women in all of Mexico, according to some sources..

 The Buena Vista Resort, in the area of Los  Barriles, started as a Spa with medicinal waters. Very near this location, on the Tropic of Cancer, was the best place to see a solar eclipse in the early 90's. A lot of visitors came down for such a rare ocassion.
