While anchored in Tenacatita, we had a number of great parties. Some of the best were held on board the catamaran DOLCE VITA. Volker and Mai are great hosts, and with a pot luck-style excellent food and upbeat cruising music accompanied by various noisemakers,  a good time was had by all.

Most requested songs invariable included the favorites: WHO PUT THE PEPPER IN THE VASELINE, SHAME AND SCANDAL IN THE FAMILY and THE BIG BAMBOO...

In case someone could not hear in the anchorage, Volker was on his microphone connected to this hailer amplifier so everyone in the fleet could not be deprived of the music, enhanced by the voices and noisemakers. They had no choice!

Boats represented were: PIPE DREAM, GREAT ESCAPE, SEADATER, FOUR SEASONS, LILIA, and of course DOLCE VITA and SIESTA.

The parties started slowly and in a civilized fashion. They then predictably culminated into a frenzy as the singing got louder and louder, and the noisemakers were more aggressively shaken, beat, hit or strummed to the fast rithym of the music. OH, YEAH!...And who said sailors easily get bored, with nothing to do.
