At Tenacatita, there is a small river that flows from the inner bay to the outer bay, depending on the tide. The dinghy ride from Casa de Piratas (see first picture below) consists of meandering through a narrower and narrower river/creek until one arrives at a clearing and a beach upon which the dinghies are pulled up. About a block away are some 10 or so palapas which serve delicious food and ice cold Pacifico Clara's. Right on that spot is where the veggie truck parks from 10am to 2pm, every Friday. Many boats take their dinghy on this ride, which takes about 45 minutes, to replenish their supply of fresh and wonderful veggies, snorkel in the shallow reef known as The Aquarium, and have a delicious lunch with a fresh breeze and a great view. The picture below shows the start of the dinghy trip up the river, with the Casa de Piratas on the right.
