In February of 2005, I attended my first Toyota RV owners reunion, otherwise known as a "Toy-In".
I traveled the longest, from Marathon, in the Florida Keys, to Pensacola, Florida.
The group is part of the extremely active Toyota Motorhomes RV Group. Since we purchased our "Toy", as we call our Toyota-based RV's, we have received invaluable information and advice from this group. To join, go to: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/toyota-campers/
Jay Brykczynski did a great job organizing the event, which was a tremendous success by any measure. I met many new friends, and a good time was had by all. Below are some pictures of the event.
Be patient. It takes a while to download all these pictures. Click on the small pictures to make them larger.
After spending the first evening at the exclusive Blue Angel Campground, a near-by fire required that we all abandon the camp. The locals arranged for all of us to spend the night at a Pensacola Hich-School parking lot. Being adaptable and able to roll away, ready to move the party to a new site, we did not loose much time or momentum, as we regrouped and resumed the culinary and socializing activities for that afternoon and evening. The first photo below shows some of the rigs in caravan headed for the high-school.
