Very early in the new year, the fairgrounds in Tampa host the largest RV show in the world.
We attended this RV show right after buying our own just to see what the rich people pay and get for their new rigs. We came back convinced that we got a very good deal indeed!
I spent two days at the Flying J parking lot in Seffner for free, enjoying the DSL-speed WI-FI internet connection, great restaurant, good satellite television, and near-by sight-seeing. Right next to the Flying J there is the largest RV dealer in the world, LAZY DAYS. I took the time to tour the facility and the adjoining deluxe campground. What an incredible spread! And yes, there is a huge Camping World Store in the same complex to look at the latest RV gadgets.
Here you can see the Marill Mobile parked right next to an even smaller Toyota RV, owned by a college-age kid who seemed to have all the amenities of home.
Our RV was parked at the Fairgrounds, where we spent two nights for $5. We had our own power and water, of course. And our satellite television dish did a nice job. We looked like a little midget in the middle of all those gigantic rolling homes.
If you have the money to spend, here is what you can buy to take you wherever you want to go:
LAZY DAYS is an amazing RV complex which defies description. It is a first class operation and required the appropriate pocket-book to go with it.
