In October 2004, we made our first long trip on our "new" 22' RV. We visited our family in Washington DC, and many friends along the way whom we had not seen in quite a while. We covered 3,200 miles in three weeks, and had a great time. SMUDGE, our cat, came with us and truly enjoyed the RV way of life.
Although we were offered accommodations at all our stops, with only one exception we always spent the nights on our RV, with all its creature comforts. At times, we had to really insist since our good friends had lovely guest rooms for us, but we preferred our MARILL MOBILE RV, where SMUDGE was the queen of the roost.

SMUDGE sits on the lap of whomever is the copilot and, with paws on the window sill, watches the panorama passing by for endless hours. During this time, you can pet her, tickle her, do anything you want and she is totally mesmerized. Some of our other friends who have cats on their RV's claim that it is sorta like "kitty TV", a wonderful entertainment for the feline kind.
