The port of Manzanillo is the most important port in the Pacific Coast of Mexico, possibly in the whole Country of Mexico. There are really two bays, the Bay of Manzanillo to the South, and the Bay of Santiago to the North, separated by a mountainous peninsula which comes out dividing the two bays. It is on this peninsula that many exclusive tourist resorts and private estates are located.
