We had planned a trip from Puerto Vallarta to Zihuatanejo in February and part of March of 2002. After we decided to stay in Mexico for another year, we aborted Zihuatanejo, and went as far as Manzanillo. "Z-town", as Zihuatanejo is commonly called by the cruisers, is a long way from Manzanillo, without any good intermediate harbors.
