We have owned our property in the Keys since 1991. We have met new friends there, and we have also enjoyed the company of old friendships who have relocated to Marathon to retire. And we are meeting new and wonderful people here all the time.

The people we know in Marathon are a big part of why we like it so much! Many people who live in the Keys call themselves "conchs" (pronounced "conks"). Natives here are members of the "Conch Republic".
