The LOG OF THE SIESTA continues, as we share our cruising experiences in Baja California and on the Mexican mainland. To return to the start of the LOG OF THE SIESTA, click here.
During the months of December and January, 2002, we spent two months in La Paz, Baja California This included the month we spent in the States, visiting our family and friends in South Florida. We spent the first month at Marina de La Paz and the second month at Marina Palmira. MDLP is closer to everything and has a great cruising atmosphere. Palmira is better protected, but a bicycle or taxi ride away from downtown La Paz. We enjoyed both of them. Each of them has its strong points and advantages. We got to experience both. So, take a look at our pictures of La Paz and land trips in Baja, as well as our pictures of Puerto Vallarta (see picture above, showing the beach at Yalapa, PV). We love it here, and you would too, most certainly! On the left is a view of the beach at Yalapa, near Puerto Vallarta.
