During the months of December and January,  2002, we spent two months in La Paz, Baja California This included the month we spent in the States, visiting our family and friends in South Florida. We spent the first month at Marina de La Paz and the second month at Marina Palmira. MDLP is closer to everything and has a great cruising atmosphere. Palmira is better protected, but a bicycle or taxi ride away from downtown La Paz. We enjoyed both of them. Each of them has its strong points and advantages. We got to experience both.
